Navigating the Sustainable Path for Conferences and Events
As a university, we have an important role to play in the common work for a sustainable future. Through our research and our programmes, and by practicing what we preach, we create a sustainable university.
In order to make it easier for members of staff who are planning a meeting or event at Linnaeus University, Linnémöten is working according to guidelines for how to arrange sustainable events and meetings. This presentation is for you who are interested in learning how we as a conference support function is working with sustainability and to hear about our challenges and learnings.
The guidelines are linked to the 17 global goals in Agenda 2030 and comprise the three dimensions of sustainable development: the economic dimension, the social dimension, and the environmental dimension.
Linnémöten is a collaboration between the Communications Office and the Office of Facilities Management and Services.
Linnémöten's mission is to provide you with professional support in the planning and implementation of conferences and events and to strengthen Linnaeus University's brand.
